Harmony International was founded in February 2004 in South Africa by Ambassador Professor. Tau Ogunlade (PhD-Hons), a Nigerian-born and South African citizen with extensive experience in International Relations, business, investment, and development across Africa and beyond.
Professor Tau’s personal journey from small-scale trader to successful entrepreneur inspired him to create an organisation that supports investors, businesses, and professionals throughout the African continent and internationally.

HIS EXCELLENCY (PROF.) OGUNLADE ADEGOKE TAIWO (PhD, Hons)
His Excellency, Professor Ogunlade Adegoke Taiwo, widely known as Prof. Tau, was
born on 22 February 1968 in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a South African
citizen by naturalization and a highly respected professional in special education,
audiology, philanthropy, ministry, and international business.
Professor Tau is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Susan Ogunlade, and they reside in
Johannesburg, South Africa. They are blessed with a daughter, Advocate Thembi
Ogunlade.
Professor Tau is a passionate humanitarian, educator, author, business leader, and
community advocate, who has made significant contributions locally and internationally for over three decades, impacting lives across Africa and beyond.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Professor Tau graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with Bachelor of
Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education – 1992 and also Master’s Degree in Audiology &
Speech Pathology – November 1995 from the same university.
